The EMT 2022 Throwdown will be on 3-5. of June 2022. The event will see 396 athletes compete over two days to see who will be victorious in The EMT!
REGISTRATION
The registration for the event opens on 3rd January and closes at 7.00 PM on 25th April. No late entries will be accepted. The early bird registration fee (until 17th January 2022) is € 25 and includes treatment costs in both categories. Normal registration fee is € 39 and includes treatment costs in both categories too. That is available on 18th January to 31th March. Last call registration fee is € 49 and includes treatment costs in both categories too. That is available on 1st April to 25th April.
IMPORTANT DATES & INFORMATION
The online qualifiers will run from the 11th to the 25th April 2022.
All two workouts will be released at 19:00 on 11th April. Athletes have to complete the workouts, submit their scores and have their score verified by their manager until 25th April at 19:00.
Before the qualification you will get an e-mail including the instructions about how to upload your results.

RX or Scaled
This description has been prepared to help you in what category you should compete EMT 2022 qualification competition.
You can qualify for RX, and Scaled categories. When we publish the WODs, you should change category, BEFORE you upload any score. If you want, you could compete both categories (RX, Scaled).
If you want to compete Rx category (30+, 35+, 40+), you might want to know or even accomplish at least the following values:
Deadlift 10RM: For men: 120-140 kg For women: 80-100 kg
Get over 80/50 kilograms above your head
Perform gymnastic exercises at mid level (pistol, hspu …)
Do not worry at least 5 of your own body weight clean
You have to work confidently with a 32/24 kg kettlebell even on overhead
If you want to compete Scaled category (35+, 40+), you might want to know or even accomplish at least the following values:
Deadlift 10RM: For men: 90-110 kg For women: 60-80 kg
Get over 60/35 kilograms above your head
You can perform gymnastic exercises on a basic level (T2B, Jumping PU)
Do not worry at least 5 of 75% percent of your own body weight clean
You have to work confidently with a 24/16 kg kettlebell even on overhead
The excercises are the same for two age groups (35+-40+ RX, 45+-50+ RX, etc.)
The scaling of gymnastic tasks (pull, etc.) is appropriate to the practice of previous years.
Excercises requiring high technical(pistol, hspu, mu, etc.) that does not belong to the qualification WODs. we are not planning to change this year either
QUALIFICATION
Information for the qualification:
Like it was in previous year, you’ll have 2 weeks to accomplish 2 WODs in this year’s competition too.
Like the practice of previous year, the 2022 EMT WODs must be recorded and uploaded by everyone!
The EMT 2022 Qualification leaderboard will be live and continuously updated with the submitted scores. Athletes will be awarded points depending on their placing in each workout. At the end of the event Athletes will receive an overall ranking.
After the qualification you can get into the EMT and we will announce the winner of the scaled competiton when the qualification is finished (over 50).
FINAL
The EMT leaderboard will be live throughout the qualifier and will be updated as scores are submitted. Athletes will be awarded points depending on their placing in each workout. At the end of the qualifiers athletes will receive an overall ranking.
